At the core of the OptiVue hardware is our patented flowcell, which allows for complete control of the sample condition. The sample can be continuously circulated and analyzed, establishing a measure of repeatabilty and reproducibility. Likewise, pattern and speed of sedimentation can be recorded and reproduced, providing key insights to the sample properties, which in turn determines the current process limits.
The OptiVue flowcell is compatible with a host of existing in-line sensors and can be configured in a multiple-sensor set-up, depending on the desired parameters. Measurements can also be combined with digital imaging to obtain a highly detailed analysis. The OptiVue platform ensures optimal conditions for performing the measurements, which are otherwise impossible to get from a standard in-line installation. Types of measurements include:
